Community Support Services
Mobius, Inc.
recognizes the need to have a uniform system of service delivery in it’s
Community Support Services Program so that the needs of the people served are
met to the fullest degree possible.
This Program provides services to people who need support to access the community and learn new skills. Because the consumers of this program are at many different levels of abilities and interests, groups are divided into three tracks. One track is the LEAD Program, which is comprised of young adults who are interested in accelerated skill growth towards independent living. Another grouping is aimed at adults with a moderate level of independence, and the third is aimed at adults who are in need of personal care and physical therapy, occupational therapy, non-traditional communication and other services. Program activities may include physical fitness, learning functional life skills or volunteering. The support provided by Program staff varies according to a person’s needs, and most often occurs in community settings. The goal in every case is to help each person develop the ability to become an active participant in their community.
